A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, succumbed on Tuesday after a recent revelation of a rare blood cancer diagnosis.
The Kennedy Library Announces the Passing
Her passing was announced in a public statement by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Tatiana passed away this morning. She will forever remain in our hearts.”
Details of the Diagnosis
As detailed in a personal essay in November, she disclosed that she had been found to have AML, a form of leukemia with a uncommon variant.
This condition is a cancer that originates in the body's blood-forming tissues.
Those close to her has requested privacy as they cope with their sorrow.
